In an exclusive interview with ifilm, ‘The Grand Prize’ star Reza Shafiei-Jam says he like typecasting in movies with specific comic roles.
The Iranian comedian said to ifilm, “I would never like to play clear-cut role of a detective as this is not me and I don’t guess it fits me.”
He also said, “I appeared in many strange roles as a cockroach or fly; when I was younger I even played as a tree leaf,” concluding that appearing in serious roles is not his type.
ifilm has recently aired one of his series ‘The Grand Prize’. He also appeared in ifilm soaps such as ‘Sweet and Sour’ and ‘In the Eye of the Storm’.
'The Grand Prize’ is about a man who has recently won a pricey car in a bank draw. On the day he goes to the bank to claim his prize, he figures another man has won it, too. In fact, they must share the car.
Things coming up next give you plenty of chances to laugh out loud.
